When The Owl Pub was taken over by new owners in the summer of 2007 it was decided that in order to capture some real community spirit, an annual Rodley Festival should be held in conjuction with our neighbours over the road at The Rodley Barge.

Being a pub with a growing reputation for live music and a fantastic selection of real ale, it seemed only natural that this community event was to be a Beer and Music Festival!

Over the years it is fair to say that the Rodley Beer and Music Festival has grown from strength to strength, while still maintaining it’s community focus and commitment to supporting local charitable causes including St. Georges Crypt, MacMillan Cancer & The Candle Lighters.

The Owl at Rodley are extremely grateful for the talented artists who grace the live music stage at our annual Beer and Music Festival; giving up their time and talent for nothing other than a free feed & a hand full of Beer Tokens!

We also like to offer slots at the festival to bands who have supported the live music events held weekly inside the pub, ensuring that regular gigs are given to those generous enough to give up a few hours over the Bank Holiday.
