Catching the Bus?
Assuming you're coming in from Leeds, catch the 16 or 16A (as it is known on an evening) to Rodley. The bus stops opposite the pub. Ask the driver for Rodley Town Street or The Owl Pub! You catch it right outside Leeds City Train Station.
16/16A: FARSLEY (Dawsons Corner) - FROM SEACROFT/ LEEDS CITY CENTRE (Via Intake Lane, Bramley and Rodley)
You can also catch the 670 and 760 (please note the 760 is a Keighley service & your dayrider probably won't be accepted) from the Headrow, Leeds. Both services pass through Rodley Town Street & Rodley Lane, stopping right outside the Owl Pub. If you were to pay us a visit from either Bradford, Calverley, Greengates, or Keighley, then you would use this service heading to Leeds and again, just ask the driver to let you of on Rodley Town Street or The Owl Pub!
If You Are Walking / Cycling...
The Owl at Rodley is set back slightly from the Aire Valley Towpath Route which runs along side the Leeds to Liverpool Canal. This makes the pub a popular destination for walkers and cyclists, particularly during the summer months. To find us, you simply need to cross the canal at Bridge 217 (Rodley Swing Bridge - Close to Rodley Boat Centre) and walk down Chapel Street until you reach Rodley Lane. Turn left and you will see the The Owl Pub about 50 metres on the opposite side of the road...
We look forward to seeing you soon!
